NC State
Maryam Zahabi, Ph.D. Candidate

I received my B.S. and M.S. both in Industrial and Systems Engineering at Sharif University of Technology (SUT) (Iran). I am currently a Ph.D. candidate in Industrial and Systems Engineering at North Carolina State University (NCSU).

I enjoy teaching on both undergraduate and graduate level courses. Over the past few years, I had the opportunity to be a teacher assistant, and guest lecturer for several undergraduate and graduate courses. At SUT, I was a teacher assistant for courses including Regression Analysis, Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, Project Control, and Pricing and Revenue Management. I decided to pursue my Ph.D. in Industrial and Systems Engineering in the area of human factors and ergonomics. At NCSU, I was a teacher assistant and guest lecturer for several Human Factors courses including Occupational Safety Engineering, System Safety Engineering, and Advanced Human-Machine Systems Design. Currently, I am a co-instructor for an undergraduate level course (Fundumentals of Human-Machine Systems Design) after I have been selected as a fellow of 2016-2017 Preparing the Professoriate program at NCSU.
